Kenta Ebisawa has over 20 years of extensive experience in the field of healthcare management, including JCI accreditation consulting. Drawing on his broad expertise and international network, he has supported a wide range of healthcare institutions. His professional background spans countries such as Japan, Bulgaria, Djibouti, Tanzania, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Indonesia, the United States, and Hong Kong , enabling him to approach healthcare management from a truly global perspective. He has also been appointed as a member of the Advisory Board of AL-SHIFA Hospital in the Republic of Djibouti, where he provides strategic advice on healthcare management and quality improvement.
He also serves as a consultant for Vmarsh Healthcare, contributing worldwide to the advancement of high-quality healthcare, human resource development, and international medical collaboration (details here).
In 2019, he earned his MBA from the University of Massachusetts, USA. In 2025, he completed "AI in Healthcare: From Strategies to Implementation" at Harvard Medical School. He is currently the President of the non-profit organization Afya Management and Innovation, where he leads support initiatives for the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Through partnerships with local clinics, he actively engages in projects aimed at strengthening community healthcare.
